Subject: Missing thumbnails in libraries

How do I fix that gentlemen and Ladies. I have poser8 and bought a few older models and the thumbnails are missing from the pose and the character libraries. PLease help.

If the models you bought are old, chances are they still use .rsr preview thumbs. Poser 8 uses .png for thumbnails. You can convert them with a free program that Dizzi has in the freestuff here or there are other programs that will convert them for you. A program called P3DO does it I'm fairly sure.

Thanks a million LaurieA, I noticed some are cr2 as well as rsr. I shall track down the prog.

.cr2 you want ;o). .rsr you want to change to .png....lol.

.cr2 is a rigged figure like conforming clothing and figures, .pp2 is a prop, .hr2 is a hair prop, .pz2 is a pose file, .mt5 or mc6 are materials files. Only .rsr you don't want to keep. After you convert those to .png, you can get rid of them if they really bother you being where they are ;o).

I used that prog you suggested by Dizzi and it works like a charm. I was contemplating taking pictures one by one and replace the rsr with png made in poser. This is much much better :) Thanks a lot and happy holidays :)
