Subject: Bump maps !!

Im working on bump maps what do you guys think of this one? all criticism welcome!!! Poppy

aside then good rendering----> I can't see much of the bump effect.... Maybe you will need to increase a bit more bump Or try to put some lighting to clear the face. Or.. render it in other software ? Just me and my POV anyway...

"...eye of the beholder" I suppose. I see the effect clearly around the nose and to the sides of the mouth. Any more and she would start to look somewhat weathered IMHO.

Hehe i did try a bit more bump , but she looked like she had a very bad case of acne!!:) maybe I will do something with the lighting Poppy

Excellent work! - Real art in this stuff often lies in making your work invisible in the final render (unoticable). Perhaps you could post 2 shots side-by-side to show what it's like without the bumo map?
