Yesterday mytilus's "Bad Girl for V4/A4/PBIV" was priced at $7.45 (50% off) and the "Sale Ends" date was shown as 1/2/11, which meant this product was supposed to be 50% off until January 2, 2011.  However, today I came back to purchase this product and was surprised to find that it is no longer 50% off but only 30% off.  I was informed by the vendor that he himself cannot change it back to 50% off.  Only Renderosity can correct this error.  Will appreciate it very much if Renderosity puts mytilus's "Bad Girl for V4/A4/PBIV" back on sale at 50% off since today is not January 2 yet.

Thank you very much for responding to my question.  It is very odd that "Emoshion for V4/A4/PBIV" and "Bad Girl for V4/A4/PBIV", both by mytilus, are included in "The Perfect Holiday Sale" but they are only 30% off instead of 50% off.  There must be some mistake somewhere.  Hopefully when the MarketPlace folks return to work on Monday, they will correct this error and extend the 50% off sale for these 2 products for 2 additional days to make up for the loss of sale on Saturday and today.

The explanation would appear to be a simple one, which is that mytilus setup a store-wide 30% off sale, which zapped the higher discount on the items in the headline sale. If you look back over older support threads, you'll see that sort of thing happens every so often.

Nruddock and Anniebel, thank you both for the explanations.  They make sense.  Now that the 50% off Perfect Holiday Sale is over, the 2 products by mytilus that were included in the Holiday Sale are currently listed at full price even though the remaining products in mytilus's store are 30% off.  There's definitely a problem in the web software.  The Rendo web developers really to fix this glitch.

We used a different sales tool to set up this sale, so we will look into getting some things worked out with it.  Thank you for your feedback.
