I have just bought shoe packs 5&6.I am new to poser.I am having trouble parenting

the shoes to v4's feet.I can parent one shoe to one foot at a time.I cannot parent both shoes to both feet simulataneously.Poser treats the pair of shoes as one entity.

That's probably because it's a figure - when you select the shoes and look at the body part list, is there a Body?  Or do the shoes show up in the Props branch?

Yes it is a figure. In hierachy it has body, hip, etc. and left and right foot.

Then you need to conform the shoes to V4, just like conforming cothes. There may be a foot pose you need to apply first-check the readme..

Then you have to conform them, not parent them.

Select the body of the shoes. In the menu under "Figure" choose "Conform To" and choose your human figure when the box pops up. This should all be explained in the manual.
