Yeah, I've been slacking on making new bugs lately, so here is the first textured rendering of a new Model i've been working on, The Scarab Beetle. This will be packaged with 2 textures. Looking for comments...

You need high detail texture... let say 1500x1500 pixels.. for that NICE AWESOME COOL bug

i considered having it with openable wings, Im still debating the issue. As of now they don't open. But I am still thinking about it. If i can get the modeling to work out.

He's gorgeous! Is the other texture going to be a typical black with glints... or that nice evil blue we've seen in the movies? Carolly

I could texture this thing with all kinds of bettle textures. Collecting insects is my hobby. Let me know if I could help out. If interested, send me a texture template to work on. visualkinetics

well i have prolly about 10 different textures allready in mind, once its released a template will be available for those of you that want something different. Im still looking at getting the wings right, so dont expect this for about another week.
