what do i do wrong ??

best regards

Solarie

Online Now!

Open your Poses category in your library and navigate to where your V4 Morphs++ is located.  Making sure your model is selected, double-click the Morph++ icon and the INJ will create new dials in your Parameters/Properties Panel.  Just open the Morph++ hierarchy under Parameters and spin your dials.  If you do not see any changes, then you may need to update/initialize your V4 model to make those morph channels available.  That icon should, hopefully, be found on your desktop.

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 11:51 AM

Load V4,

Go to your pose folder where your Morphs++ are and double click on them to load them into the base V4 figure. They should now show up in your parameter dials.

okay ill try that thanks for the help for now much apprishated :)

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 12:30 PM

hmm it seems i get an independance error installing the morph from scratsh. i install the files as follows.

1: ps_pe070_V4MorphsPwrLoader

2: ps_pe070_V4MorphsDS

3: ps_pe070_V4Morphs" this is when i get the independance error. morph++ file not found.

so i tried to dl it again but the same thing happens.

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 12:37 PM

The first two listed there are for DS, not Poser.

Maybe try uninstalling those and trying again with just the bottom one.

You do have the ++ morps don't you? Sorry for asking but your post seems to suggest otherwise with the names.

Cofiwch Dryweryn.

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 12:44 PM

the file that is the morph ++ is named this on the dl screen on the daz site Victoria 4.0 Morphs++

and gets the name  ps_pe070_V4Morphs when i have it dl'd to the hd a 24mb file.

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 12:57 PM

Ok it looks like you have them so all I can suggest is getting rid of any DS files you have installed and try running the morphs package again.

Have you done as hborre suggested also re. initialising?

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 1:03 PM

yeah i have used the update victoria thingy on the desktop.

but no luck and the morph still is a no show on the model. :/ ill try to remove the ds files. cinda hard dunno what to look for here, but ill give it a try  if not ill reinstall the entire program and all again.

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 1:10 PM

The DS files shouldn't have installed properly anyway, they'll prolly be in a folder in your poser folder. I think a complete re-install of poser is OTT, let's see if we can sort something first.

Feel free to chip in anyone else..

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 1:39 PM

from victoria4.2 to finish with the morph++

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 1:43 PM

Ok, can we take it you have installed the base V4.2 figure and that is working ok for you?

Let's take it step by step and you're not stupid..Ok..

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 1:47 PM

yepp it is on  and working :)

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 1:52 PM

hold on :) i think i got it to work now.

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 1:55 PM

Right ok, so you now need to install the Morphs++ package, I know you already did but try it again and make sure when it asks you for the path, that you are pointing it to your Poser install.

As a matter of interest, when you installed it befoe did you allow an Uninstaller or not? If you did it might be advisable to Uninstall any previous installs of the morphs.

One other thing, should have asked sooner, what OS are you using, it could be significant and where is your poser installation located?

am on win7-64

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:04 PM

Right ok, that could be your problem, but it's easy to fix, where is your poser install situated?

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:07 PM

cmy programsposer7

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:20 PM

Ok so it's not in your [x86] folder.

So that's good and it's also bad..LOL.

If it was in your [x86] folder that would have been your problem if you still had the UAC on.

Seeing as it's not in that folder, suggests it's not the problem.

Ok let's go back, have you re-installed the morphs++ package and made sure you had the path correct to your poser installation?

Injustice will be avenged.
Cofiwch Dryweryn.

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:24 PM

yeah and the morph++ got installed now i have installed all the things and all seems to be fine. no errors this time around.

But i still cant get the morph++ to work on victoria. :/ i now see a lot of things i didnt see the first time.

but if i load the ++ onto the model 1 slider apere's but i cant adjust any thing with it.

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:27 PM

Ok let's make sure it's all ok.

You have V4.2 in your character folder and she comes into your scene ok..Yes?

You have the Morphs++ in your Poses folder...Yes?

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:30 PM

yep on bouth things all seems to be in the best of order.

Cariad ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:32 PM · edited Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:33 PM

Have you run the updater that the morphs++ installer might have placed on your desktop?

And is V4 in the same runtime as the morphs++? (Quick edit as I forgot about it for a second)

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:33 PM

the victoria update yes i have runed that one :)

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:38 PM · edited Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:40 PM

Ok, load V4.2 and select "body"

Then go to your poses folder and locate your Morphs++. Now be careful here, there are a number of files, there is one that will inject everything and then there are individual ones to inject. For this part you need to double click the one that injects everything.

Once you've done that, go to your parameter dials for the body and you should see a Morph++ there is a little + next to it, open that and you should find a load of morphs. Pick a "full body" one, say "Amazon" for ease and dial it to 1. You should see V4.2's body shape change to the Amazon.

Try that and let me know.

selectin somvere on the model then select the ring that apere around the character, is the only way i know of.! is there any other ways?

edit:yeah ok sorry see it now.

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 2:59 PM

Sorry, you've lost me again, what ring around the character?

Read this bit and do this as it says exactly..

Do you know how to select the "body" of V4 in your render window?

Do you know how to access your parameter dials?

Do this exactly as I've typed it:

Ok, load V4.2 and select "body"

Then go to your poses folder and locate your Morphs++. Now be careful here, there are a number of files, there is one that will inject everything and then there are individual ones to inject. For this part you need to double click the one that injects everything.

Once you've done that, go to your parameter dials for the body and you should see a Morph++ there is a little + next to it, open that and you should find a load of morphs. Pick a "full body" one, say "Amazon" for ease and dial it to 1. You should see V4.2's body shape change to the Amazon.

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 3:04 PM · edited Sun, 16 January 2011 at 3:06 PM

the one that injects all is the "inj morphs++V4" correct

solarie ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 3:08 PM

ahh it works it works MAN you are the best, HUGE HUGE thanks for all the help this i would not have figured out without help. :) now am a happy poser dude again. :)

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 3:09 PM

Yep, correct.

After injecting that you should see all your morph++ dials as active in your v4 body parameter dials.

Then, making sure you have the "body" selected in your render window, look for the Amazon dial in your parameter dials under the morph++ drop down.

well the model and the morph seems to be in working order now, there is but 1 more things am having trubble with but that is not a problem with the mesh but hair, i get some errors using firefly to render the Deja Vu hair from this site.

it renders fine in poser4 render but not in firefly.

if you wanna help with that to that is awsome.

edit:

"the error comes if i use shaders that comes with it" if i use the hair without the shaders it is no problem.

thefixer ( ) posted Sun, 16 January 2011 at 3:18 PM

It's not a hair I'm familiar with, I don't have that one, sorry..
