Subject: Michael Base install problems

I just reformatted my hd, and reinstalled Poser 8. Next I'm installing the Michael and Victoria bases but I keep getting the following error (tried everal times and choose "Poser" at pull down option):

Any help or even suggestions appreciated...

If you're using Vista or Windows 7 you're probably running into UAC issues. You can either turn UAC off or install DAZ Studio somewhere outside the Program Files directory.

This looks like an old problem, try to creaste the directory shown + a textfile that you name dzInstall.

When that is done change the file extension from txt to ini (on your newly created dzInstall file).

It could be that you got the wrong directory.  It should be c:/Program files (x86).  Also ensure that the files you are downloading are for Poser not DAZ Studio.

From the error code, it looks like you are trying to download to the c:/Program files, there is a difference between the two.  Jan

Yup, this worked... that's pretty sad... thanks...
