Hello,

I wish I had megabucks to purchase Adobe Photoshop or one of the fancier paint programs, but with this economy I don't. I have been puzzled because I recently purchased a new laptop with Windows 7, and when I load up my renders in the Paint program, I don't see my imported background scenery (clouds etc). It's just all white. Strangely enough, in my older XP the default Windows Paint program actually shows the background image....would any of you know why????? Is there a trick to getting the background image to show in the newer version? Until I can afford one of the fancier paint programs out there, I am needing to work with the simple things I have....

Why don't you download Gimp?

It's got most of the features of Photoshop or Paintshop Pro, and is completely free.

If you saved it as a .png then some paint progs will "turn off" the background

is usualy a way to turn it on

but I'd agree get the Gimp its almost photoshop for free

or for that matter, look up Bryce 5.5, it's free, does landscapes by default (including plants and rocks and things, sand and hills and rings...;) Just google it, and have fun. It's what I use...
