Subject: PoserTRAX is looking for beta testers!

Hey gang! I need some help... :) Since I'm not a modeler or texture maker, I thought I could put my music talents to work, so...I'm working on a collection of CD's of Sound FX and Background Music, PoserTRAX. It's a full production music library for movies. (The price point will be a heck of a lot lower than most Production Music collections). The PoserTRAX site, set to officially launch in September, will have free samples, with a weekly freebie. I need 5 beta folks to put it through it's paces and give me some feedback. Windows or Mac, would like people from both platforms. You'll get a CD that's a mix of the Sound FX and a variety of the music collections. There are currently 6 different volumes: techno, rock, medieval, scifi, sound fx, and ambient. This CD contains files from each CD collection. So here's the deal: the first 5 people who request it via replying to this post will receive your CD's next week. (I'll email you for your address so you don't have to post it) All I ask in return is that you give me HONEST feedback, criticism, etc. on PoserTRAX. That way I can make it a useful, quality addition to this awesome community! Thanks, I look forward to sending out some CD's! -silver

FYI, just needed to add that the aove referenced Sound FX are not the same as the Sound FX digital download currently available from my Renderosity store. The above collections are all-new sounds and music not yet available anywhere.

I can test for you on the Windows ME platform. I'd be glad to give you some feedback.

I can give it a workout on Win2K if you`d like. Sounds like a cool site. Kudos ;-)

Mac platform here, and more than happy to help. I use a lot of built sound in my animation work, so expect to find your work deeply layered.

I'm on a Mac so if you need another tester I'm willing.

Ok, wow. That's more than five, but let me see - ok, I'll send each of you a CD. ;) I'll be contacting you all for your mailing addresses. Cassidy: what platform are you on? Thanks for the response everyone! (FYI, this has to be the limit on testers for now, thanks!)

I have a 5 to 10 min animation project in the works if you are interested. Check out my collaboration site for the project. About 6 Poser and Lightwave gurus are working on it now.
