Subject: Where can I find shoes for Miki 3?

shadowhawk2zero ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2011 at 10:38 PM · edited Sun, 02 February 2025 at 5:14 PM

I have been looking for some high heels for Miki 3 ever since I won SaintFox and Digital Lions new character in a contest. I realise that she is a new character and it may take some time, but does anyone know if thare are any out now and where they can be found. I have looked here, CP, RDNA, Renderotica, and everywhere else I can think of. I am looking for heeled shoes that range from regular pump to platforms to thigh high boots. Any help would be appreciated.

I just saw a pair of pumps over at RDNA.

And a skirt:

I'd keep you're eyes on them because it looks like that vendor has boots too that will eventually be available.

From the name of the line, I would think there are going to be more clothes for Miki 3.

The boots in some of the promos are from the Shadow Commander outfit for Miki 3.

Looks like some parts of the original boots have been set to invisible.

I appreciate the input but I am looking for a sexier style, 4 to 5 inch heeled pumps or boots. Although those might work for now, wouldn't want her to go around barefoot now would I? Hopefully some vendors like LilFlame, Nemain Ravenwood or Chris T will start making them soon.

Someone should back me up on this but there are converters for clothing items between differing characters (like D3D's Morphing Clothes).

You can use Miki 2 items or even Vicky 3,4 that fit your criteria and just hit the button..

..if Miki 3 is supported yet is the question.

There's Wardrobe Wizzard by PhilC and CrossDresser by EvilInnocence.
Both support Miki 3.

You could try using shoes from another figure; If they are seperate left and right shoes,  adjust the scaling to fit and parent them to Miki's feet..

have never had any luck with crossdresser or other conversion software, it is probably operator error. I think I saw something recently that they offer a plug in for Crossdresser for Miki3 but I could be wrong.

I hadn't thought of that idea I may have to give it a try if nothing else shows up. I guess I will have to break out the manual for PP10 and see how to convert clothing and other items.

Here's Miki 3 wearing MatrixWorkz dynamic dress for Miki 1 and the shoes were also created for Miki 1 but I loaded them into Poser and placed them apropriately on Miki 3's feet then went to the setup room and boned them off her only pair of Sandals that she came with. I first had to rename the Sandals.pp2 to Sandals.cr2 and move them to the Character portion of the library before the setup room would see them to use as a bone donor. They conformed well enough if you turn off the visibility of her toes.

.. a little advanced but, a nice tip. Is that the whole workflow?*

Not entirely. I started by turning of IK on Miki 3's legs, zeroing her and dropping her to the floor before importing the stiletto.obj and moving it into position. I also had to edit the CR2 and replace the word sandals with stilletos with search and replace so that the item showed up with the right name when loaded, but that didn't really affect the functionality of it. I also need to remove some extraneous material zone names from the CR2 associated with the original Sandals, but again, they don't affect anything even if you apply materials to them. It's not perfect.

It pays to ask questions. Thanks for that.. I like old hack tech in Poser.

Yeah and I don't tend to reply with entire workflows for the most part. I assume too much like turning off IK, zeroing the figures and dropping to floor. Seems obvious to me but it's not to a newbie. In this image I've used the Poser Pro 2010 Morph brush on the stilettos to make the toes more pointy.

Online Now!

The only 2 conversion programs readily available is Wardrobe Wizard and CrossDresser.  Of course, you will need the plugins, and CrossDresser just recently released it's Miki3 plugin.  Morphing Clothes could serve in a pinch, but I haven't tried using it in that capacity yet.
