**Poser Forum Banner Challenge**

The Poser forum is in need of new banners!

  • Create a Forum banner!
  • Any theme is welcome.
  • Postwork is allowed.
  • Other software may be used in conjunction with Poser.
  • Create as many as you like!

Banner Specs:

  • Open to all Renderosity members, including Coords, Mods, and Admin.
  • Nudity is not allowed.
  • All banners must be within Renderosity's TOS.
  • Banners must be; 500 pixels wide and 125 pixels tall, saved as a .jpg only.
  • Thumbnails must be 100 X 100 pixels.

Info:

  • This is NOT a "prize" Challenge, in this, everybody wins.
  • Banners must be uploaded by each members to the contest page.
  • This is not replacing the current rotating banners. Banners from this challenge will added to the current rotation.
  • Entries must be in by Midnight, February 7th, 2011.

Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time.

(This is strictly for displaying/keeping the images within the contest archives. )

The Artist will always remain the intellectual property & copyright holder.

LOL  I remember the last one!  Some of us went crazy creating entries!  Was fun though.  Don't think I'm up for making any this time around. 

It will be fun to see some new ones!

I hafta ask, what's with the "File" upload slot? I just entered in the image in that slot as well, but shouldn't it need only the image and thumnail upload slots?

They had the problem when I entered before too.  I think they had to have a programmer make an adjustment to the uploading.

Yeah, Jen made a few aliens that weren't bad and Saint fox had a couple of nice ones too.

Thanks to Kimberly for the assist and sage advice (suggested the red underwear), I've got my 1st entry in. Am working on a 2nd entry now!  : )

I'm sorry you couldn't keep it the way it was but it was considered nudity. Great idea tho! :)

A (maybe) silly question: What happened to the last banners we posted (last year)? I never saw them in action and so I hesitate to sit down and create another set.

Hmmm... since I never saw one of them (and none of the others that where submitted last year): Is it a problem if I upload the old ones here and ask you to have a look if they are already in rotation?

"file" thingie? You mean uploading to the challenge?

Oooo.. you mean for the challenge upload. Just upload your banner as the file as well. (Upload file/image/thumbnail) If that is what you were talking about. :)

Yes, sorry... it looks as if I ran out of english words for a moment LOL Yes I am talking about the little field where we are asked to upload a file.

So I will go and upload and it would be nice if you look into them and if they where already in the rotation please tell me so that I do not make a fool out of myself. But as I remeber winterclaw's banners as well and never saw them in the forums I have the feeling that something went wrong and dare to submit again (and maybe something else if I find the time).

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

I would really like to help you out on that but I was not able to find the thread again - and have unfortunatly recently deleted all eMails beginning with "Someone has replied to". I remember that we where asked to create banners for both, the forum and the gallery. But if you are able to find out something about it it may encourage those who participated to send in their creations again - the more the merrier, right?! 😉

I find I am so pressed for time that I'll skip this one.

If things don't ease up here at home soon it will impact my 3d work too...sigh.

SF, not necessarily.

It's just there are quite a few in rotation and sometimes I go days without seeing mine.

Yours may have shown many times but not at the times you were online.

BluEcho, I just checked the page and I didn't see any of yours listed.  Maybe you are thinking of another one.

Saintfox, thanks for the suggestion I'll keep it in mind.  :)  You should consider readding yours as well if Ryus can't get an answer soon enough.

Alright.. got an answer for you. Due to programing issues the banners were not added. When this challenge is over we will be adding those banners and the current banners into the rotation.  Thank you  for your patience :wub:
