There seems to be a problem of a lack of texture maps made specifically for the Millenium Kids models right now, so sometimes folks are resorting to using regular adult Vicki maps on the kids. Though these work, these adult maps often have shading around the breasts that make the breasts look larger, makeup, and worst of all, pubic hair and genital detail that causes the child model to be construed as lascivious, or child porn work, and just feels very strange and creepy to some folks. I will give for free to anyone who sends me an email and requests it, a map made specifically for the children. It is the one used on Sugar. It has no pubic hair, no "shading" around the bustline area that makes the bustline appear larger or more defined, no makeup on the lips, cheeks, eyes, etc, so the child does not look all trashed up. You may use this in your renders for free, though if you would like to sell it with your characters, I would like a 5% cut of your sales price (just enter my name in for the other artist and the 5% as my share in the product upload area, and do not remove my watermark with the Mehndi Studios logo on it). I have thought the same thing and fully intend to make some textures....I've just been too busy on their clothes...Thanks so much! I am real curious to see Catharina's textures... Her textures are so great.....she said they will be up this weekend I think it was...:>)

My solution was to rescale the bodies of both children to the size of the P4 female. I then resaved the characters in the library and renamed the CR2 files as Melonhead (the rescaled figure with the big head) and Pumpkinhead (the rescaled figure with the REALLY big head). This method works much better visually than turning off the visibility options for Vicky's shins, feet, and toes (then parenting the sneakers to her knees) and adjusting the Y-trans so that she doesn't tower over the P4 Male. Additionally, both methods seem to draw attention away from the general dorkiness of the P4 male

Mehndi, That is a kind, generous, and noble thought. The preteen's features are already a bit too old for a child, and with makeup, etc., she is a bit too "adult" to put it discreetly. And the little one! I have seen real-life toddlers with makeup and earrings and have to wonder what their mothers are thinking. Let's hear it for innocence! It is precious and fleeting. I would invite you to join us in our free package, by donating your texture to that effort, so that all here may benefit without the chore of having to gain access to a members only site, or by sending email out, etc :)
