SO, I have had issues with poser 8 for the last 6 months. I had a month long back and forth fight with SM support, who suprisingly, wanted to convince me it was.... wait for it..... graphic driver related.

Anyway, I had purchased Adobe CS5. Yay! So shortly after I had issue after issue with poser 8, freezing, nothing working right, can't export, cant finish a render, cant delete a figure from the stage......

The fix? I found it today here.....http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=129424&sid=d6290c78bcc93e3a34079181898b34a8

Thank you drake_necros !!

I uninstalled flash player, and reinstalled. When installing CS5, it installed a double flash player, and was causing major conflicts with Poser 8, them using 3rd party tech to build their library caused super major problems for me. I only hope this info can help some other unfortunate soul. If I am able to help just one person it will all be worth it.............................................................

That is strange, I have Win 7 Ultimate, 64 bit, never had an issue with Poser 8, and also have installed Adobe CS5, with all the compliments.  Sharen

Sounds to me like the problem was Adobe's fault for installing a version of flash on your system without uninstalling the existing one. Not SM's fault at all.

I don't care who's fault it was.... i would have liked to have a fix for it 6 months ago, that's all. I's would have been super neat if sm knew of an issue like this and knew how to fix it, like the people in the thread shown in the link. I told sm it occured when i installed cs5.... but they were focised on graphics drivers, like always(a driver that was fine for MONTHS, just suddenly "goes bad", please do a fresh install of windows and all ur software please).
