Is there a way to disable the automatic display of file paths when mousing over content in the Library?

Yep.

At the bottom of the library is a symbol we like to call the Klingon Toothpick. Click that to reveal many display options.

The one you want is in the General Group, called Show Path Tool Tip. Turn it off.

You probably want to try them all - you have many ways to customize the library.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
