It's real AND it's not spam. It is the FULL professional program. It's got an AutoRigger (v3) that can rig Poser characters - no, I haven't done it, but the videos show you CAN do it relatively easily.

yes, several posts, as mentioned by geep.

n.b.: it appears a good app for win7 usrs, but apparently it's not distrib. as OS X app, rather as crossover app (beta) to be used in some manner emulating the win7 app.  there are svl. ways of using win7 apps on intel macs, and crossover apps don't usually need a full win7 install/partition.  YMMV.

p.s. to concur with the following msg, these threads are in poser forum (Feb 14, 2011, 3:00 pm chicago time).  it's the forum where they most often post OT items unrelated to poser.

Yes, and the title of the thread is "Subject: Do Not Post about the Messiah 3-D Promotion - it violates TOS!" First of all, I don't think it does. Second of all, this is an animation program that can help people who use Poser to animate.

As I said, STUPID thread.

And since I said I did look for a thread - but didn't find one - nice of you to point it out.

And yes Miss Nancy, I now see that thread - but again, it is a STUPID (and IMO irresponsible) thread title which IMO is incorrect. I can see if I was peddling dish detergent or anti-virus software, but this is an animation program that Poser users can use.

It doesn't matter, I'm done here. I wonder how many Poser users who animate decided to be smart and try PM out? Far be it from me to try to help out other users. Bah....

Obviously, it doesn't voilate the TOS or the mods would have deleted it. That original thread was posted by a regular member who was under the assumption that it was. Don't jump to conclusions.

And why the knee-jerk reaction? The poster of that "stupid" thread as you call it only posted that because there were umpteen posts about the program before that...lol. Maybe was a poor choice for a title, but the fact that it's still there and PM fans are posting to it with blow by blows of the progress bar is testament to the fact that the mods must think it might be something of interest to Poser users as well. Calm yourself.

And if the mods had just stickied the first post about it instead of moving them. There would not have been all the repeat  threads or as many. Some don't read before posting. But it would not have been the big freakout as it was. Then again maybe it would. It is the R'sity Poser forum.

I hope you practiced your 'Duck and Cover" CD drills.  Trust me I know whats coming.  I even did a search for messiah on the poser forums and it turned up nothing.  Their search is worth a crap and the mods are hot on the delete button.  I am wondering holw long this thread will survive, its got the word "messiah" in it so mant times I bet their heads are going to burst.

Yeah, it would have been smart to make it a Sticky - you figure it could be deleted in a week or so after the goal was met. And I agree, these forums need a MUCH better search function. I wasn't about to report back via an hourly progress report, I just thought some people here would like to start using a serious animation program using Poser assets. Poser is great and easy for creating people, but when comparing animation potential, it falls far short. And for $10 or $40...  wow, you can't get anything better for animation.
