My first ever video tutorial, showing how I import a Poser character and adjust the shaders so it looks good in Vue.

Well done! :)

but with hair, turn up ANISOTROPIC highlights to max ;)

And blurred reflections way WAY slow down render speeds, not issue on small items like the gun but on say a large mirror or water, ouch!!!

Really? I didn't notice that. In fact when I tested it way back I saw very little difference between 0 and 20. What really impacts render time for me is any kind of displacement map, and soft shadows.

I'll try the anisotropic you suggested for the hair.

Yep, use anisotropic highlights for hair!
