Attached Link: Add Sculptural Detail With Layer Styles Tutorial
Hi,I just uploaded this new tutorial on creating structural looking detail just using the layers in a texture.
It includes using the "Bevel" "Contour" and "Texture" features of the Layer Styles options to create sculptural detail to enhance your models without adding polys to them.
These effects can also be used in design work, for instance they are very effective in Logos and for backgrounds, for business cards, websites etc etc.
Both the metal texture I used and the pattern for the texture layer are included as downloads.
Enjoy!
