I don't like installers of any sort for Poser content, Daz or otherwise. It just makes things more complicated and eventually could become obsolete due to an OS upgrade. One can always use a .zip file ;o).

Zips are faster and easier to open than .exe.  But it really doesn't matter. I never install anything directly to my runtime folders anyway. I have a dummy folder on my desk top where I unzip or install each poser package too so that I can go through the contents, sort, move and rename things before I move it all to the runtime folder.

I do things pretty much the same way. Except that most of the time, I don't do much renaming. Unless it's a file name like  #!!!livingdolldress!!!!. Then I'll rename it.

If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.

Zips, they make it easier to replace a file that got corrupted or you accidently wrote over.
