Anyone know where I can get a free fantasy type flag/pennant I want one that can be waved by hand not a flagpole type.

Thanks

Do you need it for animation or stills?

Heh.  For a moment I thought it was a new category to be tagged like nudity.  :)

Hints:

The flag parts F1 to F9 could use some tweaking concerning the joint settings and first of all, deformer spheres.

The "FlagBase" part has got dials for the flag movement in it - use them with care....
Also, the yTran (now: StickLength) moves the entire upper part of th flag up/down.

Workflow:

Load from Figure - Arcebus - FreeFlag

Select the "HandPiece" of the Figure and put it into your actors hands.

PARENT the Flag to your actors hand

Use the HandPiece part to rotate, I haven't had the time to make any finetuning at the joint settings so far.

Select "FlagBase", "StickLength" to adjust the length
Use the dials (Bend/Twist/Side etc.) to get some pose in the the flag

The UVMap is in Textures - arcebus - arc702

Dont' forget: it was a 100-minute job ;-}}

No idea where you could find something like this - maybe just go through Wikipedia and check for Clan badges or google for mediaeval book illustrations.
