THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: OT... very OT question

skiwillgee ( ) posted Sun, 13 March 2011 at 8:23 PM · edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 10:31 AM

Guys, gals and mods, would I be drummed out of the forum if I shared a couple photos I took this past week in Wyoming?  You folks here are a special group of friends  but I don't want to do something inappropriate.

I've posted to photography gallery in the past and so have several other Brycers but I'm not looking for gallery exposure and comments.  I was just wanting to share a couple shots here with small group of friends.  I thought about posting to the photo gallery and putting up links here but that seems a bit trollish.

???  speak now or suffer seeing the pics.

You got my vote...lol  I want to see them.

Not a mod but I bet its ok willie.

waiting patiently for a mod to come strolling by

This is in the wild.  Wolves (the Timber Island pack in Teton Nat'l forest) had made taken down an elk. After they had their fill the eagles and coyotes moved in.  I hate I didn't get a shot of a bald eagle but with a tele lens I got up and personal with a coyote.

Aspens in the snow.  The Jackson Hole area has gotten a total of 33 feet of snow this season.

That is enough pics for now.

Amazing photos... So glad you posted them.  Love the coyote ones... Hey... that's not a road runner he's eating, is it?

Oh, my! Now I'm jealous! You took some real good nature photos that are worthy enough to be in National Geographic magazine or on Animal Planet channel website.

I've always thought of the Rendo Bryce Forum as a forum for Bycers, not necessarily a forum about Bryce.   It's always been a bit more relaxed than the other forums here and WAY more relaxed than other CG forums.     Which is fantastic.

I especially like the firs mountain shot.

Willie? You're fine. The problems start if you post these in the Bryce gallery.

Isn't it amazing what can be done in Bryce? Is that a Poser Moose?

More Aspens

That shot of white naked trees against the background of darker furred trees is my favourite but the first two I'm sure I've seen versions of done by Agent Smith in Bryce (Just to bring Bryce back into things. Lol)

Thanks for the nice comments and I am sure AS has at least 40 textures created to apply onto 20 separate layers for postwork merging for a better recreation of the scene.
