Yes, you can load a suitable .obj file into a Poser character, or part thereof, to morph it.
Injection files are a different way of getting morph data into a Poser character. They're pose files which contain instructions to call up one or more other pose files, and they work perfectly well from Poser 5 up. Maybe earlier.
If you want to make Injection files, that's where it gets tricky and where something like CR2editor comes in handy.

Daz provide empty morph channels in every Daz figure. These are the PBM_CC channels and there are I think 50 of them per body part. To make an inj file is simply to edit the cr2 that contains it and edit it with any text editor to copy the section out to a text file. You then change the original morph channel name to one of the PBM-CC names thats not in use and thats about it.
There should be a couple of tutorials on it.
There is also a way of adding your own channels to a figure that doesnt have spares. You may find that by searching Poser or the python forum for 'add morph channel' and search the last two years of posts.
There is also a tutorial on using a pmd file I think to load morphs. I dont remember who came up with it but nerd3d comes to mind

If I load an obj file as morph and save the character, the morph is saved. I get that part. But what is the function of injection. Why should I do that? And if I understand correct, injection cannot be done inside Poser (7). I need other software like CR2editor to do this.
