Subject: Shiny-ness

How do i prevent an object from appearing shiny without dulling the lights? I tried setting reflective and ambient color to black, but its still extremely shiny. I also don`t have a reflection map on it. Any help would be great. Thanks!

set highlight colour to near-black highlight size to 90 or so

Nope.....still shiny :(

Set highlight color to all black and turn the highlight dial down to 0. This usually does the trick for me. If that doesn't work, than I think our perseptions of shiny differ :o)

I figured it out. We were all thinking the right idea, but not carrying it far enough. I had to change the highlight and reflective to near black not only on the skin, but on the body as well in the drop down menu. YEAY! No more shiny dragon!
