New "S" type shield but I'm getting the George Reeves vibe from your work.

Very very cool and very very good!

awesome work mate

Looks really cool!!! I'm wondering if the insignia shouldn't be just a little bit bigger though.

Also note for newbie poser users - user beware.  Free is freeish as the readme says "License: This is licensed for non-commercial use only."

Understandable really when you consider that superman is copyright marvel I should think.  But if you do make a comic that say marvel decide to use you will have to also talk to ice-boy about getting his permission etc, as it is only free to play with on your home computer at the moment.

Thanks for making this and thanks even more for making it a freebee. Been trying to figure out how I could do a scene with Wonderwomen and Superman about 2 weeks ago and bingo problem solved. Your timing was perfect.

*Actually Superman is copyright DC Comics, part of Time-Warner. But the point is still valid nonetheless.

Read carefully, the morph is only being applied to the chest.  The whole body morph works fine.

edgeverse ( ) posted Tue, 12 April 2011 at 2:19 PM

Most welcome, Misty.

and...

Max, I dont understand either. When I make M4 morph, as in superhero or body builders, the suit grew with him with now problem. Works fine in both Poserpro and daz studio.

Maximumfailure ( ) posted Tue, 12 April 2011 at 3:26 PM

Hey Guys,

I applied only Chest size morph...no full body morph(as superhero or bodybuilder)because I wanted to create a specific body type.

The suit works fine with FBM, I know, but not with singular part body part.

If you need more screen cap(of the parameters tab)let me know.

this is a screen cap of  the suit with ONLY CHEST SIZE applied

ice-boy ( ) posted Tue, 12 April 2011 at 4:29 PM

you can not select the chest and make it bigger.

i only created full body morps. so you can only use the morps from the full body.

Maximumfailure ( ) posted Tue, 12 April 2011 at 4:35 PM

Undestood.

Thank you Ice-b for th help!

Once completed I would share with you my "creation"

hope you will like it.

until then,

see you!

I think it looks good, ice.  does this mean it's o.k. to use the superman logo/trademark here, in imgs and product distrib?  I ain't a lawyer, but I got two C&Ds from DC Comix (not for superman) when I had a website.  if it's o.k., I would add it to the thing on the left of this msg, excepting that it cuts off above where the trademark would go.  hence I would hafta zoom out to fit the logo in the shot.

But he CAN select the chest on M4 and make it bigger, hence the breakage since the suit wasn't designed with all the INJ morphs included for each body part I'm guessing. If he wants the suit to not break he needs to use M4's FBM's only. This seems to be where communications has failed.

My understanding of the current DC Comics storyline, if I am up to date, is that somehow Lex Luthor is the new Superman.....so this fits perfectly :P

Actually, it's more in the style of the more recent Brandon Routh Superman.

"if you morph M4 then the suit breaks? i dont understand this."

Actually i have seen that problem before.  It is when scaling is used which should work okay in poser pro 2010.  you will note the suit only broke on one side and not on both sides.  So something is different on one side of the suit.  If you can find what it is you can make it work and it would also solve the problem I have getting M4 to fit freak 4 clothes with respect to just one item of clothing from daz that gives the same trouble. (other clothes work okay) which also has one sleeve giving a problem.  it is probably just some taper thing that is turned off on one side or something.
