Subject: OT - Anime Studio Debut 6 - Free to whomever

Anniebel ( ) posted Thu, 21 April 2011 at 7:44 PM · edited Tue, 31 December 2024 at 12:53 PM

Does anyone want a free unopened boxed set of Anime Studio Debut 6? I am in Australia, so anyone interested would have to pay postage. I got the programme free with a purchase & I have decided it is not something I really want.

According to Australia Post (box & packing weigh 300g) seamail costs about $11.75 to USA & UK, while airmail costs $16.50 for USA & $20.30 for UK, just as example. Prices are quoted in Australian $. I have a Paypal account, so you could either pay via Paypal or if you don't have Paypal, you could by a gift certificate for me here for the equivalent of postage in US$.

If you are interested just Sitemail me.

maybe somebody in australia could use it.  however, I have an OT question regarding "chevy chase".  in the states he is known as a "comedy killer", but is he considered a comedian down under, similarly to how jerry lewis was once considered a comic genius in france?  I'd use the chat room to ask this, but it still ain't working :crying:

Well if someone in Australia wanted it they could have it. Never mind, it will just sit in a drawer unused & unloved LOL

Regarding Chevy Chase have no idea, cause I don't like his brand of humour or his movies.

o.k., then that confirms it - he's a comedy killer world-wide.

I remember Chevy's very short lived late-night show.  The intro was by far the funniest part...

I enjoyed Chase' earlier works: Caddyshack, Vacation (the Christmas one is okay too), the Fletch movies, Foul Play.  I also liked The Three Amigos :)  A lof of utterly ridiculous roles but it was funny without being toilet humor, which we seem to get a lot of today.

It's really kind of sad though.  A lot of the SNL crew that were fun to watch back in the day are just awful in later movies.  Chase, Steve Martin, Dan Akroyd and Eddie Murphy just don't seem to get ahold of good scripts or have the comedic timing that they used to.
