hi Debbie,
it happens on any store going from the MarketPlace home page or from an external link if i'm using Firefox; if i use IE (after allowing pop-ups) it opens a new tab for the store, does a little side-to-side jiggle, and the Facebook Like button is down toward the bottom. if i use Firefox from the home page the store opens in the same tab but after about 3 seconds it opens a blank page with the Like button in the top left corner.
i'm sure it's something in by settings otherwise i would see a lot more threads about it. ;)

Using Firefox 4 in Win XP SP3 (but has happened in earlier versions of FF) when I go to a vendor's page after about 3 seconds I get a blank page with a FB 'Like' button and the line "Be the first of your friends to like this." The rest of the page is blank but the status bar says 'Read static.ak.fbcdn.net'.
When I added that address to my adblocker I got an error message when the page redirected with text for the Like button and text with my name saying that I like that item.
I then added 'connect.facebook.net' and 'facebook.com/plugins' to my ad blocker the redirect gave me a blank page with 'connecting to www.google-analytics.com' and never changes.
While I guess I can just keep hitting the STOP button as the vendor page loads to prevent the Facebook redirect, this is getting rather old and seems to be not worth the hassle. Any ideas how I can fix this?
As an observation, this doesn't happen with IE7, just Firefox. I normally don't use IE though.
