Oh! And although I was actually walking in the park in the hopes of taking a pic of a squirrel, I didn't actually stop and wait forever for one to come by. ;-) I'm not that patient!! I was actually on my way back home and I'd just put the camera back in my backpack when I saw this one. Fortunately for me, the little critter didn't look like he was in any hurry to leave. :o)

Ah yes you fed it taffy! Doesent that trick work well. The squirls keep chewing and chewing... It's almost as good as gluing their paws to the log then they keep REALY still while you take the picture. Yup. Taffy and glue a natures photographers friends! The squirel looks grey to me. So it's eyes probably were NOT red. BUT they may have been light brown. Which may make them more succeptible to red eye! Beats me I didn't study genetics. It's the grass that really works. Were their trees close by. I don't see any. Bsteph
Nah! I didn't give it anything to eat, but I have often thought of carryong nuts with me, though. ;-) There were no trees close by. Well, not that close anyway - maybe like 10 feet away from where the pic was taken. As far as glue goes, well!! ;-) I do have a pic of a squirrel on a tree, but it's a little blurry so I didn't think it was worth posting - it's nice for showing off, but not nearly nice enough to show to people on a site like this! ;-)
