Hello there

I just purchased this beautiful set along with the tail top etc for Mavka, but when I load in poser it keeps telling me files are missing tr (trans?) files, all of them even the lighting caused me problems, I wanted to know if I was missing something ...... very confused.

I dl'd the files as per norm, I have hundreds of the things, then placed them in their correct places, then loaded mavka her tail top hair etc, then tried to put the mats on, but I got errors saying files were not there.. all the same ending with tr, tail fins light etc and I can't see what else I need, am I missing an item that I was meant to purchase? But I did look what was needed it said ... Poser, Mavka Mermaid and that was it.

Hope you can help :) shes all grey and boring with no cute tail colour.

I did email the vendor but you knew know when she would be available, and it would be nice if I did not have to bug her.

which of the mermaids did you get , the one by shay or the one by 3dtubemajic ?

Um, correct me if I'm wrong: if something you paid for isn't working, isn't the vendor the one you should be bugging? ;)

Ohh oh there are two? lol it's really urked me today, poser refuses to load anything since, it can be such a tempremental pig at times.

I get a nasty feeling I am missing something that my tired brain is not picking up :P I get a strange feeling I am missing a Mermaid somwhere. But my searches are only bringing up those, the two I purchased.

Yup I know but not if it's my stupid old fault and I can't find the correct files in the search, and rather than be a total pain in the aspect, people may know where I went wrong rather than the vendor being wrong, sort of questions rather than a demand to fix.

I would just have posted to the vendor, but I am confused about the putting together of this pack, do I have the correct Mermaid no matter how I search I only find the one. I did write to her but I would have rathered a " oh I know what you did" and fix the problem first.

Plus that way people answer if they get me or ignore me if they want :)

Ah, it looks like product naming is the problem here :/  And I wouldn't doubt that Sveva wasn't aware of the one by 3DTubeMagic.  

My advice would be to contact store@renderosity.com and let them know about the potential naming problem, as both Smay and 3DTubeMagic have them named the exact same thing.

Yes will do that it confused me :) sorted now I purchased the correct one and I don't really mind having the second one, but at least anyone else being as silly as me will get to see the forum and have an idea. :) thanks guys really appreciated.

It seems poor practice to have two named the same when it may be critical to the add-ons. I would try returning the one purchased in error.

Yes. Contact the store and tell them and ask for a store credit.  Obviously the first one you purchased isn't working, so why keep it?  Get a store credit and get something that you can use.

Yeah. For some reason the search engine isn't finding Smay's file called "MavkaMermaid" when "Mermaid" is searched.  Seems like a bug in the search engine.

Oh that would make things so much easier for the buyer I would love that.

Sometimes you just search and search and can't find the second item so

you just leave it which is always a shame.

It would help ensure the required product is still available too.

It is mandatory now, but it is not retroactive, meaning older products won't have links.

In regards to the search engine, partial word search has always failed here. For a simple example, if an item is called girls & you search for girl, girls would not come up.

You have to hope keywords are added & smays mermaid is listed under the keyword search, so it definately does show if you search for mermaid.
