Subject: Newbie Q: Adding a glow effect to a path

aspiring3D ( ) posted Thu, 19 May 2011 at 9:33 PM · edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 3:53 AM

I'm almost there. Not quite.

I draw a path with the pen tool, then stroke it, then in blending options apply an outer glow. Thats all fine, but I am always left with the original path staring at me in the middle of the glow.

How do you get rid of that, leaving only the glow?

Thanks!

The path won't print or be visible when saved. But If you really want it gone then click on Paths palette and delete your it.

it's not necessary to delete the path.  it becomes invisible when turned off or inactivated, depending on version of APS.
