Subject: Are we slowly taking over the gallerys or what?

I think I've noticed this trend. I'm not alone, am I? But I guess people like to get away from the computer, and photography as a hobby is a good way as any to do it. (I know it suits me well as a motivation or excuse to go outdoors.)

A lot of really good pics too. 👍

As I am a modeler photography for me is a nice complement, for direct use and also to make another art discipline that takes just seconds, as I am always in lack of time :)

I got bit by the  photography bug  couple of years ago myself. Now, I can't  sit still enough to create anything in any of my 3d programs. Also, it makes me appreciate where I live even more.

BTW
Oh, since I have discovered photography, then when I go walking in nature, I do not get far in distance.
If someone is with me, that person must be very patient. Everywhere I see special little things, to take a shot (or 2, 3, 4 :D).

It's just great, and I can't stop.

Not taking over ... being consumed by! ... LOL!

I started out here in 3D as well, but soon switched to photography.  At first the camera was just for texture shots, but it quickly became my primary art.

Welcome to the dark side!  Muahaahaahahaha!

I think I was born with the photography bug!! As long as I can remember I always had a camera in hand...

Not the worst place to be!!! LOL....

photography is my  way of interpreting the world around me. As i have moved along the photography path landscape has become my consuming passion, but more and more i am moving into the fascinating world of macro, pictures within pictures within pictures. Who knows where else i may go with it and there lies the fascination for me.
