Why have a chat room if it doesn"t work!!!

So, is the chat room working or not?   I see some people logged in but the right hand panel keeps going all-white and even though I type in a message I don't see it appear in the main chat.

Sometimes it takes a few(or 10) reloads to get it to load correctly. Only us persistent people are the ones u see in there lol
