Remember a while ago (about 3 months I think) I posted a photo and a message complaining about the crap quality of the scanner? I got the images scanned and cleaned up here, and a few of you expressed interest so I'll post all of them.

I wanna see more contrast. I like high contrast stuff, and it is a bias, BUT I DON'T FAWKING CARE!!!! Some high high contrast pleeeeeeeaaaaaase.

Ypur scans seem alright to me. Ireally like the first one! How did you do that using it? Was it a darkbox trick? Bsteph

Well you once decribed covering a real object with black velvet before scaning it. That was you darkbox trick. I was trying to avoid statements like " Did you use velvet when you used the scanner" Bsteph

Well, I only used the scanner to scan the prints..no velvet necessary.. Alpha, I had it recorded but I lost the book. I used a red filter, probably +3,5. Whatever was available. Our darkroom was primitive..
