Subject: More Mer-tails for V4/A4/M4/H4

There's gotta be more mer-tails for V4/A4/M4/H4.

I'll admit I was inspired by the new PotC: On Stranger Tides when the mermaids showed up ^_^  Man-eating mermaids...hmmmm...am liking that a lot!! hahaha kidding...kinda...sorta...pffft...no I'm not!  So could someone design some mer-tails please??

But then me got to thinking...why not a new race of mers?  Nothing cutesy but something more dark and forbodding...like DARK MERS...Drows with fish tails but minus the white hair/brows... and tails like sharks or something ragged, yah know?  Good idea, yes?  Maybe?

People with scales? I'm in.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Why not an octopus body?

Probably edited for spelling, grammer, punctuation, or typos.

I might take that challenge, if somebody else is willing to texture that.

The only problem is that I don't have the necessary tools to make easy-pose tentacles... or the skill to do that by hand.

Fugly start, but it's a start.

Not sure about how to model those 8 tentacles symmetrically... might use Zbrush for this, it has radial symmetry.

Will probably work on this slowly, I have three products waiting to be finished and released...

OMG Ohki...it looks awesome to me!! ^^  And no rush really...take your time...Woooot!!  But am sure in the end it will be hella awesome!! ^^

It dawned on me that it might be easier to sculpt one straight tentacle and leave 8 holes where they join the body, then attach 8 copies of the straight tentacle to the holes.

Will try it later, today is game day with my friends (WOOT, I spend the whole weekend anxious for saturday to come because of this!)

I can model you as many mer tails, octopus bodies and so on as long as you do the rest for the complete product ;)

I have very good modeling skills and I can make them as complex and intricate as you desire them to be. :)

Just let me know!
