Here is a "Solitude" image I shot just at the start of fall!

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."

Mondays comes the garbage collection company at my area and I asked myself whether the company will take the can completely with them about 14 days ago.
So you see they didn't take it and now new life is growing there.
Nice, isn't it?
;-)

Keep cool and fight for the right of others
to have a different opinion than you have!

Very cool indeed!

@Bernie- Great eye, I couldn't see it until you pointed it out (I was more surprised by the shape of that poor garbage can! haha) I love seeing nature thrive in places we wouldn't expect. Great shot :-)
@Tabby- I love this sunset! Very serene. The clouds look like waves coming over the ocean. Awesome!
@Clive- What a great action shot! Looks like this little guy is running with a purpose :-)
@Jordie- Awesome capture of this bird. With my camera I cant seem to ever zoom enough to get worth-while-shots of birds. Glad to see it works so well for you :-)
Great uploads everyone! Keep 'em coming, month is coming to an end :-) I have to take one more for this, too!

Strange... it seems that solitude is the one thing that I constantly seek, yet always alludes me. One would guess that if solitude was my goal that my photography would reflect that. I had to think pretty hard on the idea before I chose these three images. I hope they work for you. Thanks for getting me to think about this topic again!Thank you.
As I mentioned, I'm getting used to Win 7, it aint easy when you're my age. (or any age it seems) ;-) Also getting ready for our season of shows and exhibitions here in Cairns Aus.
I'm involved on several levels in several groups...that aint easy either. Hey, but it keeps the little grey cells working. ;-)
Leonie.
Here is my last upload for this months challenge (just in time!) My mother bought me this amazing statue today for our wedding next July, and I'm in love with it. Hope you like my posts, and awesome job to everyone who's submitted this month!

@Clive- Great bird shot! Chikadee's are my most favourite bird to watch AND to see in photographs, they're so playful and so fluffy, cant help but smile :-)
@Fred- Your first shot is amazing, I love the womans pose and position in the shot, and your long crop really fits the image perfectly. Your second shot is also amazing, I wonder what iso you shot this at. Great 3 choices!
@Leonie- Your first shot reminds me of the other day there was a girl playing on a cement wall behind my house and I tried to get a shot of her through my window but she was so fast! I love candid shots like this (and your second shot). For your last shot I can see your husband, but unfortunetly not your little little dog haha
Great shots to everyone! I hope everyone gets all three images in before the end of this month :-)
(Hint: look for the black-tailed prairie dog)
