Much to my surprise, cornucopia3d went ahead and published my 'how to' tutorial on a render I created. http://www.cornucopia3d.com/classroom/article.php?id=140&from=makingofs and without really changing anything I wrote.

Thanks! I didn't think it was all that well written, and I wasn't sure if anyone could really follow along. And I'm sure there are much easier ways of doing some of the things I did.
