I went to http://dwonload.net.com/ to grab Bryce 5.5 for my new PC and it has been replaced with Bryce (Personal Learning Edition) v7.1.0.74 its a 254MB Download and the serial is included on the download page.

I used TinyURL to shorten the link to the actuall download:

i thought the PLE was available for free before? great move from 5.5 to the PLE

Yeah, the PLE Looks like has been available for quite some time, I just wasnt aware of it, till I wanted to re-download 5.5.

So now I have 5.5 / 6.3 and 7 Pro on my new system.

Next step will be to get my other machines up and running to get the Render Farm up again.

PLE has certain new options that are locked, new lights, instancing etc. until you purchase the unlock serial number.

Do atleast one thing a day that scares the hell outta ya!!

that's what I meant...;) In past cases, downloading PLE's has been a PITA...;) as you got the company's logo plastered all over the background, or couldn't save, or couldn't import models...always something...;) Might take a look at it after all.
