Subject: making german pants for v4, any help

artofsw ( ) posted Sat, 18 June 2011 at 2:19 AM · edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 7:39 AM

Does anyone know how to turn the tunic pants for v4 into german pants. I would like to adjust the sides above the knees with a morph, and use a alpha map to remove some of the pants. Any Help on how to do this in poser would be appreciated, Thanks

What pants are the tunic pants, and what do "german pants" look like? Screenshots would help. :)

Are we talking about "lederhosen"?

Here is the idea for it in the sample pic. I would also like to attach a belt with a flat rectangle buckle, SO I can put a symbol on it, Thanks

Ah, you want riding pants.

Well, you could actually get that effect fairly easily with the morph tool and then make a full body morph from it. The pull and push tools can be used to this effect pretty easily.

I tried that, but I'm fairly usless with the setup room. lol. I can push and pull the morph on one side, but how would I mirror it to the other leg? Or even set the morph so it can be dialed in and out. I know how to make a alpha map for removing a bit of clothing, I'm just stuck on the morph, Thanks

The morphing tool is used in the Pose Room, not the Setup Room.  There are commands to mirror the morphs from one side to the other.

possible solution - just render the bottom parts of the pants invisible...and use high boots...;)
