Good morning all , I have a painting to work on that needs a first class detailed White Horse which I can place a ridder on, I will then use the model to try various camera angles to from composition on a painting. The horse needs to be detailed and if possible the mouth needs to be able to be manipulated. Any ideas?

This is the previous attempt ( 10 years ) or so ago, but I would prefer to be able to increase the size of the horse and generally change the composition. At the time I did not have any good reference to paint from. However with your help it may be different.

Thanks guys .

Try the Millennium Horse

Here is a texture pack for it. Not sure if the horse is white enough though.

You can also get the Millennium Horse Unicorn addon which has a  very white texture.

This is a really nice horse: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/adhorse-a-new-horse-figure-for-poser/73561 although the closest the base texture set has to white is a very light grey.

Thank guys & Girls

Looking into my library on Poser 8 I have found this image, which find a bit rubbery

However I will try some of your suggestions.

Any model can be made to look rubbery, or not, in Poser. Just takes some work in the material room....

In the case of this image, it looks like the whites are way over the top, but that could be a lighting issue rather than a materials issue.

CWRW has some gorgeous textures for the Millenium Horse.

Her mane and tail pack is beautiful too if you don't mind doing post work in a graphics program.  She has a tutorial to go along with it to make it easy.

And there is a pose pack in her store.  Just a small fortune to purchase all these at once.

Thanks for that, yes I think your right the lighting is over the top, however I was thinking more of the bendy legs! The anatomy dose not look sharp, think I might look at this Millennium Horse.

I have it on my wish list crossing my fingers.
