Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 18 10:25 pm)
If this is dynamic hair, you could increase the density. If you increase it too much, the hair starts looking plastic so don't overdo it. It also helps to set the hair material to "opaque in shadow" in the material room.
Poser 11 Pro, Windows 10
Auxiliary Apps: Blender 2.79, Vue Complete 2016, Genetica 4 Pro, Gliftex 11 Pro, CorelDraw Suite X6, Comic Life 2, Project Dogwaffle Howler 8, Stitch Witch
If you're talking dynamic, your best bet is a high res skull cap. The higher the resolution, the better the hair looks and the better density actually works. Please note that you should not go overboard, as the higher res the skull cap, the more hair you can pack onto it. It can bog down your computer very quickly.

The hair you find in the poser library is modeled in a 3D modeling program. That is very different from hair done in the hair room.
"It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not
angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi
It depends on the complexity of the style if you have more than one group. Different lenths, directions and densities will need different groups. you might also check out http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2798819&page=18. About 12 posts down (sorry I don't know how to link to a specific post, just the page) there is a script called hair_to_pat6a.py.txt Down load it to you scripts folder and delete the .txt from the name. It can help you style hair a little easier than the style tools in the hair room
