Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 13 7:03 am)
Thanks. Some shareholders may be disgruntled and could have been the ones who appointed these professionals to look into the case.
But even so, it does mean the Smith micro, as a public company, will need to file the info for the larger shareholder base ?
Anyway, Poser-ing as usual.

Quote - Another half-dozen law firms have now filed suit, or announced investigations this week, apparently to meet the deadline for the court to name the "lead plaintiff" in a combined class action lawsuit.
It's also worth noting that all those releases have the "Attorney Advertising" disclaimer. I won't go into the merits of MarketWire or BusinessWire, but let's just say that they lack the funding sources of tradtional media outlets, so many of their stories are placed on a "for pay" basis.
Yes, these are press releases which are generally done under the restrictive policies to which lawyers must adhere in regard to advertising. A somewhat more upscale version of TV's screaming "HAVE YOU BEEN HURT IN AN ACCIDENT!" commercials, if you will -- the press-releases being just one method of reaching potential plaintiffs in the class without directly soliciting them.
None the less, the suits are real, and, if only from the number of firms filing, they appear to have some merit, hence newsworthy here I presumed.
What?, Mike turned gay ?
He shacked up with David and they adopted the mil kids :)
Going back OT, I wonder why anyone would want to infer SM is in some kinda trouble ,when as the posters above state this is the equivilant of company ambulance chasing.
I don't mean the OP personally, but as long as I've been in poserdom, theres always been a constant "bash the app" and "critique the makers" theme.
We never seem to actually celebrate what Poser, and all the talented people who use it, can do with it.
Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

Not to be beating a dead horse....
Anybody with the fee can file a lawsuit, that doesn't make them "real" only filed.
Also, consider the timing. Most of these entities are LLC's, LLP's, etc. The majority of these have a June 30 fiscal year end. It appears to be more like "window dressing", just trying to file a few more so they are booked the current fiscal year. The same as fund managers buy and sell stocks on the last of fiscal year (or quarter, in some cases).
