Subject: Executable file broken?

Basically my poser pro 2010 has stopped working. It loads up freezes, then displays the error message Shown above. I tried reinstalling it, and i have tried updating flash and my video driver, but nothing is working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

OK, what operating system , and where did you install it to ? (what folder)

 

Try right clicking on the exe file and select Run as Administrator if its a new install.

It stays open now thanks

But now i have the problem of an error message saying

FAULT Detected!

Any ideas?

BTW I'm runnning windows vista and have save the exe file in

C:Program FilesSmith MicroPoser Pro 2010

That is where some of your problems may occur.  Both Vista and Window 7 have the UAC feature which prevents any write backs into that particular folder.  Suggest you reinstall PP2010 into a separate folder on your main drive to offset the interference.

Have just uninstalled the original file and reinstalled into a brand new flder, am still receivig the error messeag

That error is Poser trying to contact ContentParadise. I think you can ignore it.

Unfortunatel none of my libraries appear, it just goes blank after the message, meaning i cant use any content

Devilfish, sometimes that will happen to me and I don't know why, but if I take action to go online, everything starts working.  Poser is not searching for anything and I'm not an expert, but it works at least for me and every time.  Something, gets a kick when my modem is activated.  Doesn't even have to go all the way through to my IP.  I have a 56K Modem.  Jan

Managed to fix the issue by running as admin then reinstalling flash.

A big thanks to everone who went out of their way to help me
