Subject: Product Guidelines, the dangers of being out of it
You can still sell Bryce models here. And I was just told that you don't have to include the object model with them. I forgot to ask about the templates tho'.
There guidelines seem to be slanted toward Poser vendors & not very clear for anyone who wants to sell for other programs.

What Chris said...I had no idea this was happening and would myself object strenuously as .3ds are still one of the most transportable formats avilable.. ...Also what about LW and Maya models?...hmmm...someone maybe needs to think deeper than Poser. It was the start of this site, I understand that, but since then it has expanded and I've uploaded to freestuff, .3ds and .iob models as well as .ter for Terragen in terms of terrains which are not useable in Terragen as a terrain in .obj although you can save a .ter as such for use in apps that support .obj.. ...

thanks for the input guys, actually still waiting for admin to reply, guess they're busy. once ive finished going through all the galleries ive missed i'll try uploading something new and see how it goes.

rjoo1... I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that read the new guidelines that way.I did a search in the MP & found the product in the link.. It was just in the What's new list so I'd guess 3ds is ok;

Hello, been away for a while: come back and find everything changed.
since 2001 i have been selling my 3DS and Bryce format models in the marketplace, and they still sell, however the new guidelines seem to indicate that only *.OBJ models can be sold, can someone (mods?) clarify this, thanks guys and gals.
