This is an Honor... I'm not a professional photographer, just an artist with a digital camera... a camera that was given to me by the bank for opening up an account - lol... I do gotta say though, for a cheap camera I was thrilled with the detail I got in my doggies eyes - Thank you for making my picture that is special to me even more special.
Thanks, Mike/mikeerson
Well, I have to echo mikeerson's thoughts... well, sorta.
I bought my camera a couple summers ago to have one available for keeping track of a progress in couple projects and maybe do something more with it. I don't really know what I'm doing, but I've found that youddon't always have to - regardless of medium - and if I do anything further with photgraphy, it's likely going to be screwing around in the hopes of getting something I think looks good or just experimenting with different techniques.
I'm actually surprised that I managed to get some half decent shots of fireworks, and that I got more than one or two usable shots out of it, using two of the camera's presets (and the fireworks setting doesn't seem to work so well holding the camera by hand).
Anyhoo, enough rambling from me. Thanks for including one of my shots in this feature. I'm not much of a photographer and may never be; any time I upload a photo is because I think it's something that is good enough to show others, even if I don't have the skills or knowledge to make it a great one.
