Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

It seems my boat is being held for ransom.

Can anyone lend me 4.9 million?

Apparently 4.9 mill is cheap compared to the prices of some of the others on that page!!

If you look closely at the photo I took, you can see the "For Sale" sign leaning on the cabin wall next to the back door. It's a little more classy than a "For Sale" sign - it looks like an invitation to a charity event.

My friends just got a new boat two weeks ago and their mooring is right next to Acadia. I had the pleasure of staring with longing at good old Acadia for several hours. My friend has a sailboat, and while it is certainly beautiful and fun to be on, it isn't quite an insane monster like Acadia.

And yet, if you look around at many of the boats in Newport, Acadia is a joke.

Typical of any forum, everybody likes to put in their two cents everytime they post.

It appears Acadia figured out a way to sypthon off all those pennies over the years and BB discover what they were used for. The least Acadia could do is throw a boat party for all us forum posters don't ya think? :thumbupboth:

I am going back to Newport tomorrow. I will ask the guy on the boat if I can invite you all for a party. I'm sure it will be BYOB, though.
