I made four basic shoe shapes for Antonia, with different heel heights and widths. They are now in the freestuff approval queue.  I made a few colours in a basic court style, there are also some other styles (transparency maps) and colours that I am experimenting with, including a strappy sandal.  Those will be uploaded as free items when I have completed them. Each one of the material settings can be used on any of the shoe shapes, and probably on any shoe for any other figure that was made with PhilC's Shoe designer. All these shoe shapes fit in the zero position and bend with the foot. Thus you need to bend the foot to suit the heel height and the shoe bends with it. You should not need to make the toes invisible.

A blank figure sounds like a good idea. I guess "blank" can mean different things to different people, and depending on what purpose it is supposed to serve, for example "V3 BLANK SAE.cr2" still contains JCM morphs, and all the materials.

So what things would people like to see left in or taken out of a blank Antonia figure?

JCM
Materials
PBMCC channels
?

I was wondering if I could ask a favour of those developing and hosting the files for Antonia?

can we have a clear up and seperation of files? I'm just about ready to give up trying to get her to work since .7 files are mixed in with .9 files with 1.1 files... it's not clear what files should be for the current version. seriously... just a little tidy up?

Faery_Light ( ) posted Fri, 22 July 2011 at 5:52 PM

@Kaibach:Maybe when SF and DigitalLion(Leo) get back from their trip, Leo can upgrade our site to separate the older files from the newer ones. :)

It could be done by creating different directories for earlier versions and latest versions.

Depends on how he is feeling and if he has time.

Thanks for the encouraging comments - I am still working on the strappy sandals. Please note that if you have PhilC's shoe designer, these material settings can be used on shoes made with it for any figure that is supported (and that includes most of the popular ones).

Antonia.

See this topic I have two weeks. I do not know of
his existence before. But I read the Post and the
post, and 346 pages.

I am flabbergasted with the quality of Antonia.
She makes me laugh with joy as poses. She does
things that made ??no figure 3D. She does it
naturally, without being fragmented into pieces.

I have no right to criticize anything! But I will
dare! I hope not hurting anyone here. Is not
critical, it is good advice.

  • Improve the eyes of the eyelids antonia.
  • Improve upper and lower lips. He shows 2D.
  • The hand must be improved. Has no expression.
Nails and fingers are on the same line. It takes
a step that separates the finger nails.
  • Improve feet, more expression.
  • More expression on elbows and knees.
  • The chin is pointed and it is not normal.
  • Nose too wide for a delicate woman.
  • For more polygons in the genital area, to
conduct realistic morphs. Genital or make a
realistic woman, as it should be. This is the
brainchild of creator of Antonia, a real figure.
    She is real.

In others, it is better than V4.

Thank you all for Antonia, and all the work free.
I will make some conforming clothes and I hope
everyone's help so that the clothes get perfect.
I promise.

Today I worked on a Pic of Antonia, by day and
with great pleasure! I posted in my gallery, and
do many others. For you and for antonia has
eternal life and be known, more and more.

A big hug to all of you with all my respect.

Roberto.

  • Please forgive me, for my bad English.

Hi Roberto,

Yes, antonia is imperfect like a ral human. I agree on some of your points, and could add some more.

The good thing about Antonia is that you are totally free, and in fact encouraged! to make and publish your own improved version.

I did build a 'magmaster' utility to make 2 magnets work symmetrically on Antonia, to facilitate the making of body morphs, like the 'broad base' on the image (not sure if she likes it, though). The operation is simple: load antonia and with Antonia selected load Magmaster. Next use the dials to move magnet bases, magnet zones and magnets. If you add clothing to the magnet affected objects, they move with the skin.

I am happy to share it as on Antonia's site, but before finalizing and uploading I could do with some feedback.  Is there anyone who wants to help and have a go at it?

Jules53757 ( ) posted Sun, 24 July 2011 at 8:44 AM

Don't invest too much time, there is a tool around by Lesbentley, MirrorMags32, that handles up to 16 pairs of magnets. Two mags is not that much for morph creation.

BTW: I downloaded a Demo copy of 3D Coat to try.

If I can learn how to use it Imay try to save for a full copy someday. There are endless textures and morphs I could make for our gal. :)

But all the tutorials are video and I need pdf or written, my hearing is too bad to know what is said onthe videos...sob.

@ bagoas,

As Jules53757 said, my "MirrorMags32" utility over as sharecg.com, is for applying mirror symmetry to magnets via ERC.  However that does not mean that it has to be the only game it town. I would be happy to give feedback, or lend a hand.

Wow, lots of things happened while we visited our capital city and her lovely neighbour town!! I told Leo about the desire to split up things in old and new files.

As we have lots of work to do it would be very nice if someone could make a list containing the categories and the items that belong there. Maybe we need something like "Antonia 1.2", "Previous versions (or likewise)" and, eventually, "works with all versions" - if desired we can split up the mappings as well.

About those shoes: Nanette, these are very, very nice! And maybe it means something to you that I once read the sentence (I think PhilC wrote it): If you can make (3d) shoes you can make everything.

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

And I am not strange, I am Limited Edition!

As far as my own content on the site goes, in the poses section, "TGPPoses01", and "TGPPoses01" are for the 1.0 or any previous version. "APUtilityPoses0.9.122" is for the 0.9.122 version. Feel free to move or delete these files. As far as I know, all my other content on the site should work with 1.2 and 0.9.122 or above.

I still use 1.0 quite a bit because of it's better compatibility with poses and content for other figures, Symmetry, and the Walk Designer. I would like to see the 1.0 content maintained, but don't feel it is worthwhile to go to a lot of trouble over it, or make it too prominent on the site. Perhaps one new page "v1.0 or previous Content", and everything that only works for old versions could be dumped there. As for new content, let's hope that the authors specify if it will work in previous versions.

If it would not be too hard to implement, a way for the author to delete their content would be a good idea.

I went through the stuff in the free site, and made a list of all the stuff I found that was for 1.0 or previous. I don't know how to check dynamic clothing for compatibility, I assume it works with any version, but may be wrong. When something said it was for 1.2 (1.02?), I took it at face value without checking, I also assumed that all texture files and shader sets work for any version. Here is what I found.

character_sets:

In addition, there is a problem with the download link for "Beach_Volleyball_Set_for_Antonia_Updates" in the clothing_models section. "LidTest-01_cr2" in morphs, is obsolete, and can be deleted.

[edit]

I missed one, xuu4u_-_Extreme_Gym_Poses_for_Antonia"  by xuu4u, is also for 1.0.

SaintFox ( ) posted Tue, 26 July 2011 at 12:12 PM

Thanks a lot Les, that's a base. Leo already prepared the site so that things can be moved into their places. You assume right, dynamic clothes fit both versions as they do not contain bones or bodyparts. IF the size or proportions would havechanged it would be different (but this can be fixed by the user himself). Leo will start to move content today and if we have further questions (we means: He asks and I read, write and translate) I will give you a holler.

And about the smiley: Your reaction amused me a lot, so much that I dare to post another one that I like a lot ---> Usually I would have to wait until I say something stupid again to use it so this is the perfect chance to use it immediatly.

UpDo2_Hair_AP_Fit
PTAIL_Hair_AP_Fit
From memory I think these were made for 1.2, but should work on any version.

For Poser library files, cr2, pp2, pz2, etc. Anything that contains hip, hip2, or waist actors, will be version dependant. Anything that does not contain these actors will probably not be version dependant from at least v0.9.122 up. Though there could be the occasional exception where INJ poses for v1.2 don't work on earlier versions, this is because v1.2 added some extra PBMCC channels which don't exist in earlier versions.

About storing the Wiki: I hardly doubt that it isn't allowed to store it on the harddrive for "offline use" cough  as more as it's nothing but a backup and we do not want to claim it as our own work.

And as said before: If you are able to pay your host over Paypal and need some bucks we should team up here. If I remember right you need round about 10 Dollars, right? We are enough people here to spend a Dollar each and keep the site alive for a while.

You have a donate-button on the site, right?

By the way: As Leo is already working on the page he is about to implement links to commercial items. Tomorrow the input mask should be ready and waiting for input.

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

And I am not strange, I am Limited Edition!

I'd be in that - the site's already up and working, and keeping it where it is is a lot less work! Let us know if this suits, BE... 😄

As soon as I get my end-month payment I send some bucks as well. I think that this will work following the german saying "Small animals make dung as well" (very poor translation - but take "dung" as something positive here). I think that BE sponsored Antonia over a long time on her own and it's just natural to "protect" the site from going down.
