Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 30 5:12 am)
I haven't had any problems with 9.5 builds. Just download the latest one you see. PLE and pre-releases are not meant to be used if you are planning to use Vue for any real stuff.

Yes, I just get the latest. 9.5 still has occasional unexplained crashes (as did every vue version before it) but not all that frequently, and it is a very useable build.
Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
9.5 crashed on me the other day for the first time. But I was rendering a dynamic ecosystem across an entire horizon that was in the camera's view. So of course I didn't have the RAM for that. My poor little 32-bit.

the crashes I have had have been more out of the blue - like previous versions of vue. I am in 64 bit with tons of RAM (56GB)

Currently what is the best build for Vue 9.5 that you are using?
I've been using the pre-release beta of 9.5 and remembered that I hadn't downloaded the official release, went to download it today and found so many more beta releases.
So I'm trying to sort through what I will download as my official 9.5 base build.
While trying to figure out what I have (which is 9504885) I loaded Vue and it told me that the pre-release was out of date and all my images would carry a water-mark. Something about that seems insane. Why should software punish you for not upgrading? Not important.
Vue 9.5 has been the least buggy non-crashing good Vue experience for me so far. I'd like to download the best base before trying out another beta release that may go sour one day.
What number would you recommend?
Thanks,
Don
