I only want to paint on my terrain, so I use the ecosystem painter brush thing on the top of vue, and try and paint but my terrain is red and all I can see is a red box.  I cannot see the city on the terrain that I want to paint around unless  something else is selected in my scene.

My brush is also red too.

In the display options, uncheck the "Show wireframe on selected object" and "Highlight parts using current material" boxes.

Interesting website.  A lot of work went into that.  I just wish the pictures in the slideshow were larger, the text is hard to read.
