Subject: Cessna model?

I need a Cessna 177, 172 or 182 (perferred) that has a movable blurred prop (look like it's flying). Tall order I know. Even something that looked like this would be good. I'm shooting scenes for a movie with a real one and want to integrate exterior animations.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

As a last resort, there are several in SketchUp format at 3D Warehouse. They'll have to be converted to .obj format (ask in the SketchUp forum). Most are probably not very detailed and the result won't be very Poser friendly, but with some work it can probably be done.

If you can't find what you're looking for I would be quiet happy to try and build one from scratch for you. I am in the process of building a "Sopwith Camel" for myself and a "Chevrolet Cruze" for a third party but I am sure I can find time to develop the model if time is not a major issue.

I've been searching for a day now and a bit empty handed. I realize the sketch-up models are out there but was hoping for more poser friendly prop blur

it is for my movie Insectula! at www.insectula.com 

I'm shooting a bunch of shots flying in the plane and then shots from the ground and then trying to match them with renders of it getting attacked by the creature. If it had a disk shaped prop blur that could be posed is all I really need...of course any flaps etc would be great too. I don't have much money but we are in the process of pitching this to several companies for finishing funds so I'm hoping.

I shall see what I can do for you and the disk blur prop shouldn't be a problem. Essentailly you will end up with both the full prop and disk prop of which you just select which one you want to use in the render/s. I shall keep you up to date by posting you progress renders as the Cessna develops.

I think I found someone who has a model. I'm going to play with it and see if it works for me. I'll let you know if this doesn't meet my needs, thanks again!
