Subject: Missing

Has anyone else noticed that many images are vanishing from the Gallery after being posted?

( It seem's someone has removed that image ) is what you meet when you attempt to visit-The images that are being removed are not breaking any rule's so why are they vanishing? Who is removing them ? Is it a board fault? Normal board users cannot remove images so it must be down to board staff or a board error.

While i am on the subject ? who is the gallery Mod ?

Can it be because the owner of the photo has edited it and it comes out as a new upload and the old will disappear? Maybe it is not quite what you meant?

Sorry but it is as i mean - some images are not being edited by their owners but are actually vanishing as though they have been removed-I have spoken to a couple of people who' have had to repost because the image vanished-yet when they post again the image stay's

I have stopped to use the PREVIEW botton, as it sometime was making my image vanish and I couldnt upload again that day and I have heard it happened to others too, so I only use Edit if I need adjustment. Otherwise I have not noticed anything wrong.

Since the images have been reposted soon after the removal i am afraid to say that it is sad to say the fault would not be the same

I haven't noticed this "vanishing" either except that I've noticed a few deleted images by just a select couple of members.  Bipolartwo, I suggest you post this concern to the Community Forum and see if someone in administration can look into this. But be prepared to give more detail on who and when and where. That's the only way it can be traced.  But if this is happening as you say, it is a matter that needs correction.

No I can't say I have ever noticed it happening to me! If they are not yours, the owners are probably removing them in order to edit them or post something else?

The staff members that watch over this forum and gallery are listed at the top of the page. Staff and adminstration only remove images if they are found to be a Terms of Service violation..I have images in my gallery from 2002...They don't just disappear. If you find this happening, go to the community center as suggested by the moderator and pass along as much specific information as possible.
