Your Avifil32.dll has probably become corrupted for one reason or another. Try the following which has worked for me in the past. 1. Find the Dll in windows system and rename it by adding a letter to it. Do Not shut down once you have done this. 2. Insert your windows cd and re-install the DLL. Try the program and see if this solves the problem. I have had to go as far as re-installing windows completely due to this type of problem. These types of problems seem to be a regular occurence every couple of months with win 95/98. Good luck.
Actually, this sounds more like a feature of WinDoze than of Poser4. I've had other programmes than Poser refuse to start because of "missing .dll" blues. What might be a good idea is, once you've followed beelzebulb's advice about re-installing - is save a known working copy of the dll in a zip file in the directory in case this happens again. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes there no other option that to re-install WinDoze Paul

Does anyone know about Avifil32.dll which is found under Windowssystem. Poser won't start up because it says this is linked to another .dll called ntdll.dll. I have no idea what thses files are used for ( I'm guessing the former has something to do with Avis. I use a PC. Please, help!!!!
