Subject: Poser renamed one of my loaded figures....

Poser renamed one of my loaded figures, is there anyway I can rename it to what it is supposed to be?

For some reason Poser felt that the one and only pair of shoes I had in the scene was a duplicate for "V4" so it renamed V4 after the shoes.  So now when I look in the list it looks like I have 2 pair of shoes in the scene, when in fact one of those figures is actually my V4 figure.

Can you click on the name in the Properties sheet, click on the name, and change it ?

I seem to be able to do that when this silly thing happens.

You've always been able to rename figures in both the properties window as well as the heirarchy window. Double click the name and rename it.

Thanks so much! I didn't think to check the properties.

I find that Poser does this when I load a figure and go right to the properties without first clicking "body" in the drop down menu.

I'm using Poser 6. This has actually been an ongoing issue for me but never bothered to ask how to change the name back.  Last night was the first time the name change actually caused an issue with my figure's texture.

I do have Poser 2010 and for some reason it's very jerky on my computer so I can't use it.  But the name change also happened in it, but at the time I had 2 vickies in my scene, and one of them was renamed after a necklace!
